Pakistan and US team up to bolster online learning Pt.1

cropped-sjsu-aiou-logo-horizontal-wordpress4.jpg“It was quite the experience,” remarks Mark Adams as he and Hillary Evans recount their trip to Pakistan. Still visibly tired from an arduous trip that took them through various stops in Georgia, United Arab Emirates, Amsterdam, and finally Pakistan. Tired but inspired was the resounding theme in yesterday’s PDEEP (Pakistani Distance Education Enhancement Program) meeting.

Quickly after reaching their destination in the early hours of the morning Mark and Hillary promptly retired to their rooms where they slept for a couple of hours and awoke for a 10am meeting. The meeting was with Personnel at the United States Embassy in Pakistan where the project was discussed and the week planned. Later that day Mark and Hillary met with their Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) counterparts and cemented the bonds needed in the undertaking of such a project.

End of Part 1.
