Organization Profile: Pakistan Association of San Francisco Bay Area

PASFpicFounded in the city of San Francisco in 1979, this organization grew from a small Pakistani Independence day celebration attended by a few people to a full-fledged organization by 1992. It’s mission is to bring cultural, and social awareness by hosting events, and by harmonizing and assisting the Pakistani American community.

This organization is a non-religious, non-political, and non-profit organization that has brought awareness of the Pakistani community to the bay area for the past 18 years. It hosts cultural events such as Hum de Naat program in January, a community picnic in June, Pakistani Independence Day celebration in August, and a yearly celebration for Pakistan’s founder on December 25th.
